- 1 egg
- 1 pound of ground pork
- 1 tablespoon of chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons of chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
- 3 cups of water
- 1 bundle of vermicelli or misua (sold in Oriental food store)
Beat egg. Add the pork, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls. Bring 3 cups of water into a boil and add pork balls. Add vermicelli or misua and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
Makes approximately 4 servings.
